Monthly Meetings

The next BSL Board of Directors meeting will be held at 6:00 pm on Thurday Febuary 9th, 2012 in the Meeting Room, 100 Madrid Blvd, Unit #212, Punta Gorda. BSL property owners are urged to attend.

Annual Meetings

. The Annual Meeting for 2011 was held on Saturday, October 15, 2011. The following were elected to the Board of Directors to serve a 2-yeara term: Robert (Rob) Hancik, Robert (Bob) Reichert, and Gordon (Gordy) Quick. The rollover of excess operating funds, the 2011-2012 Budget, Waiver of Audit (vs. Review) and pursuing implementation of the Long Term Master Plan over the next 5-20 years were all approved. . The Annual Meeting for 2012 will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Burnt Store Presbyterian Church located at 13300 Burnt Store Road, Punta Gorda, FL. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Annual Meeting Picnic to be held in the BSLPOA Park. There will be four (4) Board of Directors elected at this meeting. These positions are currently being held by Bob Lilley, Stan Hochstadt, Aimee Schneider and Bob Pietrasanta. Anyone who would like to be considered should submit their name to the office along with a brief biographical outline. When the Nominating Committee is appointed at the June 2012 Board meeting, the names will be turned over to the Committee for consideration. The term of office is for two (2) years. Unapproved Minutes of the 2011 Annual Meeting held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 are now posted below. These will be sent out with the Annual Meeting packet scheduled for mailing the first week in September 2012 for approval by the membership along with the 2012-2013 Budget.
